Specsavers opened a new store in Matlock, in a bid to meet the demand for optical care in Derbyshire. Located in Crown Square, the new optical and hearing centre has created seven new jobs.
Fun filled day for all
The new store houses a variety of frames from Specsavers own range to designer brands including Converse, Max & Co and Disney’s Frozen.
To celebrate the grand opening of the store on Saturday 6th February, there were stilt walker performances, face painting for children and much more. The store is also searching for new local charity partners and would like them to visit store, to look at partnership opportunities.
Speaking about the new store Claire Wildman, store director at Specsavers Matlock, said: “'We’re really excited to be opening the new store, people will be able to benefit from the most up-to-date optical and hearing services and it will enable us to serve even more patients in the local area.
