The team from Specsavers in Marlborough are celebrating the wealth of experience held by two members of their team after they reached a significant milestone.
A decade of dedication
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, store director, Paul Shimell, from Specsavers on the High Street, was unable to celebrate his 10 years of service which was officially back in March. However, with the store now open again for routine testing, the team were able to commemorate Paul’s achievement with an award to recognise his many years of hard work and dedication.
‘These past 10 years have flown by,’ said Paul. ‘I’ve owned the Marlborough store since it opened and the team, our customers and the local community have made working here a delight. I’m certain that my future at Specsavers will be as enjoyable as the past years have been.’
Celebration for supervisor
The store has also praised supervisor, Lisa Pow, who has spent a decade with the team alongside Paul. Since joining as an optical assistant, Lisa has seen the store grow from four team members to 12.
Lisa added: ‘It’s really nice for our customers to come into store and see familiar, friendly faces for every appointment. There’s a real sense of community here, which makes me love coming into work. I can’t wait to see what the future holds.’
