Specsavers in Marlborough have launched an exclusive Frame Styler, a unique virtual try-on technology that uses facial analysis to scan your face shape and features; taking the guesswork out of buying glasses.
Now available in stores across the UK and Ireland, the in-store tablets identify styles and colours from our ranges that suit you best, from subtle to statement, allowing you to be confident in your specs choices. To take the hassle out of choosing specs, the team at Specsavers in Marlborough is fully trained in using the Frame Styler to make the decision a lot easier.
How it works
The Frame Styler shows each frame from multiple angles and allows customers to virtually try on different styles in 3D, comparing how they look with one quick swipe. Using three pictures of the customer's face, the tool’s imaging software produces a high-resolution 3D model of the customer. Any glasses from Specsavers’ range can then be automatically tried on in seconds based on face shape, gender, age and the most popular frames purchased by similar customers.
‘The technology if fascinating,’ said store director, Rachael King. ‘We always go above and beyond to make the experience in store as fluid as possible for customers and we have managed to go one step further with the Frame Styler.
‘Customers are loving it so far and we look forward to welcoming more people through the doors to try out this unique experience.’
