One lucky Market Harborough resident got more than he bargained for during a visit to his local Specsavers when he was presented with a £500 cheque for submitting a store review.
Martyn Elton completed his ‘Maze’ feedback survey rating his experiences at the store, which automatically entered him into a nationwide prize draw.
Store director Barry Henning said: ‘We were surprised and delighted to hear that Mr Elton had won the monthly prize draw. It’s fantastic to be able to give something back to our customers and we hope that he will enjoy his surprise windfall.

Mr Elton said: ‘Specsavers excel with their delivery. I will be donating a portion of the money to my favourite charity A New Day Spain, and the rest will be spent on a holiday in Wales.’
The ‘Maze’ survey lands via email after an appointment in store. Every Specsavers customer who completes it and leaves their contact details is entered into the monthly draw.
