Specsavers in Market Harborough is sporting a fan-‘tache-tic new look in support of a town-wide charity campaign.
Members of the team have added a giant 6ft long moustache to its store sign in aid of Movember, an annual month-long moustache growing charity event that aims to raise awareness of men’s health, specifically prostate cancer, testicular cancer and mental health problems.
The store will be sporting its new facial hair from Saturday 1 November which coincides with the town changing its name to Mo’ket Harborough for the following four weeks.
Barry Henning, store director at Specsavers in Mo’ket Harborough, said: ‘Movember is a great charity initiative and those of us who can will be taking on the challenge to cultivate a ‘tache for the month. Therefore we thought it was only right that the store gets to sport one too!
‘We’re really pleased to see that the whole town is embracing Movember and we’re looking forward to comparing moustache styles with visiting customers. However, we hope people remember that all of this is for a really important cause so please don’t forget to make a donation to the charity which we’ll be collecting in store.’
