Specsavers in Market Harborough will act-the-clown for charity on Halloween (Saturday 31 October) when it hosts a number of daring circus acts and spooky games to raise money for Voluntary Action South Leicestershire (VASL).
Barry Henning, store director at Specsavers in Market Harborough, said: ‘We’ve gone all out to raise money for VASL. The charity is dedicated to improving neighbourhoods and lives in the Harborough district, so we’re really passionate about raising as much money as possible.’
About the charity
VASL provides services and support for community groups, while building partnerships to meet community needs. The charity runs a number of projects, such as a social transport scheme, befriending the elderly and providing support for carers, as well as a separate project for young carers, throughout the region.
