Specsavers in Lymington has celebrated a landmark year by raising money for eyecare charity Gift of Sight.
Seven years in Lymington
The store, located at 71 High Street, turned seven last month and celebrated with an in-store raffle and birthday cake, made by staff member Jo Clarkson who has been working at the store since it first opened.
All proceeds went towards Hampshire-based charity, Gift of Sight, which is managed by the University of Southampton and aims to fund world-class research into the prevention and treatment of blindness.
Part of the community
Specsavers Lymington store director David Macro says: ‘We’re proud to have been part of our community for seven years.
‘We wanted to credit our staff for all their hard work with this event, as well as drive further awareness for Gift of Sight, which we have been committed to supporting since we opened. It was wonderful to invite the community in store to join us in our celebration – here’s to many more years!’
