To further boost donations, store staff will be asking for donations in return for specs MOTs.
The store will also be holding a fancy dress fun day on Saturday 24 May to celebrate the end of the fundraising drive.
David Brett-Williams, store director at Specsavers Luton, says: ‘We have decided to support Keech Hospice Care as it’s an extremely worthy charity and is located very close to the store. By promising to donate £1 from every sight test, we hope to raise as much money as possible while also making sure local residents are looking after their eye health.’
