A local optician has been awarded with a customer services award after amassing the most positive customer feedback scores in the region. Shane Bhimani has been rewarded with an ipad mini for displaying great customer services skills and ensuring that his clients leave the Specsavers store feeling satisfied.
Shane joined Specsavers Luton in 2007 as a dispensing optician. During his 3 years at the store, Shane discovered that he had a passion for eye care and in particular, optometry, and left the store to study optometry in 2010. However, Shane was not gone for long as he returned in 2011 as a qualified optometrist and has been serving satisfied customers at the Luton store ever since.
Store director, David Brett-Williams says: ‘At Specsavers we really do pride ourselves on our customer service and Shane has been a great example of that. He is always trying to go the extra mile for customers to make sure they are informed and that they understand each step of their treatment, whether that be a simple eye test or choosing the correct lenses to correct their vision.
‘Shane has shown his dedication and commitment by leaving to become a qualified optometrist and here he is serving the community. He thoroughly deserves his award and I wish him all the best for the coming years also’.
Optometrist and customer services award winner, Shane Bhimani said: ’It’s always nice for your hard work to be recognised, especially when it is by a customer I have worked with. I have always felt it is important to provide the customers with all the support and help they need from the beginning of their treatment till the end and this has enabled me to build strong relationships with them.
Customers are happy
‘I am really happy to have won this award, however the most important thing is that my customers are happy.’
