Specsavers Ludlow raised £40 for the British Royal Legion after it held a spooktacular fundraising event.
The team dressed up in spooky Halloween costumes and sold poppies to raise money for the charity. Customers were also able to enjoy frightfully delicious treats at the store’s cake sale and scoop prizes in the children’s lucky dip.
A word from the store director
‘The British Royal Legion does incredible work to improve the lives of our service men and women, so it’s great to give something back by holding this fundraising event,’ said Nicola Aubrey, store director. ‘The team really got into the Halloween spirit with fancy dress and we’d like to thank everyone who donated.’
The British Royal Legion help members of the Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force, as well as veterans and their families in every aspect of daily life. Founded by veterans after the First World War, the Legion safeguards the memory of those who have given their lives for our freedom through Remembrance education and events.
