Fancy dress, face painting, sweet treats and frivolous fun were in high demand at Ludlow Specsavers, as part of a kid’s clinic fundraising day, raising more than £225.
The team hosted a children’s fun day, complete with a Disney lucky dip, face painting and a singing performance from a staff member’s sister. The team threw on their finest fancy dress and asked for donations from customers, with all proceeds going to Brain Tumour Research and Hope House Hospice.
A word from the store director
‘We’re really happy with how the event went,’ said store director Nicola Aubrey. ‘It was a great day out for everyone involved and an easy way to treat the little ones, while also looking after their health.
‘The team were busy finessing their face painting skills and perfecting their home baked cakes right up to the day, and a lot went in to the preparation, so big thanks goes to our team. We also want to say thank you to our lovely customers for supporting the event and donating to the cause.’
