Specsavers Ludlow brought Disney to town on Saturday 11 July as part of a kids fun day and raised more than £200 for Hope House Children’s Hospice.
The store invited children of all ages to come and win a Disney treat in the treasure chest tombola, in return for a £2 donation. A face painter was on hand to make all wishes come true and goody bags were given out to all young visitors. Customers were also be able to sample homemade cakes for a donation, with all money going to Hope House.
Store director Nicola Aubrey, said: ‘We are extremely proud to be helping a charity which supports our local community. We were thrilled to raise £202 for Hope House and it was an exciting day for our younger customers.
The new Disney range of specs is proving very popular and with classic characters such as Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse to iconic royalty such as The Little Mermaid’s Ariel and Cinderella, this range offers a style to suit every Disney dreamer.’
