Brave staff at a local opticians have faced their fears to raise vital funds for charity.

Corinna Smith and Lauren Hopley, optical assistants at Specsavers in Lowestoft, recently took part in a charity sky dive to raise £1000 for the Lymphoma Association and Hillside Animal Sanctuary respectively.

To raise additional funds the store also held a raffle in-store giving away a pair of designer specs.

Store director, David Holcombe, says: ‘Both Corinna and Lauren were extremely brave and the whole team would like to thank them for their efforts. They have both conquered their fears to raise a sizeable amount for charity and should rightly be very proud of themselves.’

The Lymphoma Association are the UK’s only charity focused exclusively on providing specialist information and support to help lymphoma patients, their relatives, friends and carers. Hillside Animal Sanctuary was founded in 1995 to help and campaign for animals in need' and most importantly, to bring public awareness to the millions of animals suffering every day in the intensive factory farming industry.
