To celebrate the launch of the brand new range of glasses designed by Crayola, Specsavers in Loughton are holding an art competition for local kids.
The striking specs created by the art supply giants feature an ultra-comfortable design, super sturdy flex hinges and come with single-vision lenses, including a UV filter for added protection in the sun.

Dispensing Manager at Specsavers Loughton, Yin Lee said: ‘These bright, colourful frames are perfect for inspiring children aged six plus to get creative and what better way to celebrate that by giving the kids in our community the chance to win a fantastic prize.’
To enter the competition all your little ones need to do is bring in their masterpiece into the store with the child’s name, age and parents’ contact details.
The children who draws the best pictures will win a fantastic prizes, including chocolate, arts supplies and a Crayola Colour Spinout.

The range is priced at £64 although they are free for under-16s with an NHS optical voucher. Children can choose an additional pair of frames in Specsavers’ ‘kids get two free pairs’ offer.
All under-16s are entitled to a free NHS eye test. Both pairs can come with single vision lenses with a scratch-resistant treatment, or tinted prescription lenses and a UV filter free in the second pair.
The competition runs until 28 February when the winners will be announced.
