The Christmas collection of Specsavers in Longbridge was a huge success, after 30 gifts were donated to the Frankley Carnival Committee’s charity initiative.
Running throughout the festive period, Specsavers on the High Street acted as a collection point for members of the local community to donate Christmas gifts. The items were then handed out to children from underprivileged areas around Birmingham.
A word from the store director
‘We’re delighted with the response from the community, who really dug deep to help us to collect so many gifts for those in the area that struggled at Christmas,’ said store director, Irfan Aziz.
‘The team each donated a gift as well, and we hope that the joint effort brought some festive cheer to families.’
