Specsavers Livingston has pledged to help youngsters stay safer on darker evenings by donating high-visibility vests to 10th West Lothian (Dedridge) Scout group.
The donation is part of the store’s ongoing commitment to help local children stay safer on the streets by being clearly visible to motorists.
A word from the store director
Ted said: ‘The Scouts often take part in activities outside so we hope they’ll be able to make good use of their new vests for badge work.
‘Helping to increase the safety of local children is so important and we’re pleased that we have been able to donate the vests to benefit the group.’
Susan Gillanders, at 10th West Lothian (Dedridge) Scout group, added: ‘Thank you so much for the hi-vis safety vests you kindly donated. We have the kids out and about as much as we can on walks and activities so we are extremely useful.’
