Lisburn Specsavers strengthened their partnership with Edenmore Country Club by supporting the Club’s Bank Holiday week-end Golf Classic competition on 26 May.

Store director Natalie Latham explained: ‘Lisburn Specsavers already has an existing link with the golf club through sponsorship of the course pin flags and we were delighted to have this opportunity to develop that relationship.

'The store has been looking after the eye health of the local community in the Lisburn area for many years and in recent times we’ve been expanding our audiology services and clinics.’

Fabulous weather and excellent golf

Following a fantastic sunny day of competition for both ladies and men, Natalie Latham and Edenmore Club Captain Deaglan O’Hagan presented a range of prizes to the winners of the various sections in the golf competition.

The overall competition was won by Frank McCracken who achieved an excellent 47 points, second was Kenny Hylands (43 points) with Jason O’Donnell coming third with 42 points. The team trophy went to Paul Patterson, Herbie Goode, Gerwyn Young and Simon George (100 points). Cherry Logan was the ladies winner with 34 points and Gary Dickson secured a hole in one at the 7th hole.
