Specsavers opticians in Letchworth are gearing up for a day of activity and fundraising for charity.
The team at Specsavers Letchworth will be putting on their snazziest outfits to support the Make a Wish foundation and raise awareness of the charity on Thursday 14 May. The store will be running a series of in store activities, including a colouring competition for the town’s young artists, to encourage parents and their children to support the store’s efforts.
Store director, Amer Choudhry, said: ‘The team are all really excited to be supporting the Make a Wish foundation. It is a charity that is close to our hearts and we hope that the Letchworth community will get behind us so that we can help the charity to continue its hard work.’
Realise their dreams
The Make a Wish foundation is committed to helping children who are fighting life-threatening diseases to realise their dreams by making a wish come true.
Specsavers Letchworth will continue to support the charity by raising money in store through collections and fundraising activities.
