The recent Leith Festival Gala Day brought festival cheer to the community – and Specsavers eyecare experts were at the heart of it.
Specsavers, based in Newkirkgate Shopping Centre, celebrated the day at Leith Links with a market stall where locals and customers could visit to find out more about the store, its range of services and receive sight and hearing advice.
The staff held a raffle with some fantastic prizes, and were accompanied by a cuddly guide dog mascot to encourage donations to Guide Dogs Scotland.
A word from the store director
Madelene Knowles, store director of Specsavers Leith, said: ‘At Specsavers, we are dedicated to serving Leith and the wider Edinburgh community, and have been doing so for the past five years.
‘We recognise the importance of going out into the community, and spreading the message about eye and hearing health.
‘The staff had a fantastic day at the Gala Day, and being involved in the local festivities reaffirms our enthusiasm for the town in which we serve.’
