Following a few days of heavy snow, the team at Specsavers in Leighton Buzzard has been busy raising awareness for World Hearing Day.
Staff remained committed to the cause despite the icy downfall, marking the occasion with decorations, stickers and giving out free ear plugs to customers.
Although many of the team could not make it into the store due to the weather conditions – and those who did were super busy – the staff still made a valiant effort.
The team also continued to hand out the earplugs the following week, making as many people as possible aware of the annual event.
A word from the store director
Ekta Kotecha, store director at Specsavers Leighton Buzzard, said: ‘We’re always so proud of the efforts made by the team. Our customers loved the free earplugs and we hope to have raised some awareness around the importance of ear health.’
