Residents were reminded of the strong relationship between man and dog as Specsavers Leighton Buzzard rallied support for an in store fundraiser.
In a bid to raise awareness of the Hearing Dogs charity and the vital aid provided by the highly trained dogs for their owners, Specsavers in Leighton Buzzard, located at 18 Waterborne Walk, put on a spread of delicious baked treats as they held a cake sale to raise important funds for the charity.
Store director, Ekta Kotecha said: ‘We are extremely proud of the Leighton Buzzard community who are always so generous and are always willing to support charities. It is always important to give something back to help those who are less fortunate than ourselves and we were able to raise a fantastic sum of £100 for the charity!
We are determined this year to raise more money than ever before to help charities in the local area that are close to our hearts and we hope that we can help them to continue their work by supporting them and raising awareness of their fantastic efforts.’
