Leicester's Specsavers team has been praised by customers for offering outstanding service.
When Stephanie, an East Midlands family carer representative for the National Valuing Family Forum, visited Specsavers at 8/10 Belgrave Gate with two members of her family, she was incredibly impressed with the expertise of the store team.
Stephanie said: ‘It was the first time I had been to Specsavers and I also took along my mum and my Auntie, both of whom are elderly and disabled. From the moment we arrived, we were looked after exceptionally well by all members of staff we encountered and they bent over backwards to assist us.
‘My mum is 74 years old and suffers with chronic MS and osteoarthritis so she’s endured her fair share of healthcare appointments over the years, yet incredibly she remarked that this had been the first time someone had told her what was going on. Staff took the time to explain things to her, especially during the eye examination, and this really put her at ease.’
Baljit Kaur, store director at Specsavers in Leicester, was delighted to learn of Stephanie's comments: ‘The team works really hard to provide great customer service and its hugely rewarding to hear when that work pays off. We’re very pleased that Stephanie, her mum and Auntie felt well looked after and we look forward to seeing them again.’
