Tony Walker, lab manager at Specsavers in Leicester, completed the London Marathon alongside wife, Emma, for Asthma UK.
The couple completed the marathon on their 12th wedding anniversary, dressed as a bride and groom, raising £2,000 for the charity.
Mr Walker said: ‘It wasn’t until Emma signed up that we realised the marathon was on our anniversary, I had to sign up and join her on our special day. We chose this charity because Emma suffers with asthma.
‘I spent my anniversary with my wife while raising funds for a charity that is close to our hearts, it doesn’t get much better than that.’
