Specsavers hearing centre in Leicester is holding its first charity event since moving to its new home with the newly-refurbished Specsavers opticians on Belgrave Road.
On Friday 14 November, staff will be raising money for Children in Need by offering customers discounts ranging from £20-£100 on hearing aids and will match the discount on any hearing aids bought.
The team will also be organising a ‘Whatever Box’ lottery, inspired by the Barry Loser books. Brave customers can donate money in return for a mystery box, which could contain anything from toy vouchers to random oddities and cash prizes ranging from £0.01 to £10.00.
Visitors to the store can also enjoy tea, coffee and a range of cakes in exchange for a donation to Children in Need.
Hearing centre manager Jake Tyers said: ‘We are very excited to be holding our very first charity day since moving to our new home. We hope to do as much as we can for this fantastic charity and for anybody who is looking to improve their hearing. And , as always, we will be on hand to offer free advice and information for anyone who has concerns about the health of their ears.’
