A member of the team from Specsavers Ledbury visited Welland Pre-school to talk to the youngsters about eye tests.

Store manager Rebecca Smith held a fun session with the three and four-year olds which included showing them a picture of the eye and taking along some frames for them to try.

'Great opportunity'

‘I asked the children who had been for an eye test already and what it was like,’ said Rebecca. ‘We recommend parents take their children to see an optician from the age of three, so this was a great opportunity to be able to talk to them about what happens. I also handed out some goodie bags and gave them some leaflets to take home to their parents.’
