Specsavers in Leamington Spa donated 200 high-visibility vests to children taking part in the lantern parade on Sunday 3 December.
Setting off from the Royal Pump Room Gardens, the parade lasted an hour, winding its way through the town, before finishing at the Town Hall where carols were sung around the Christmas tree.
The event quite literally lit up the town with a host of creative and colourful lanterns on display.
A word from the store director
‘The lantern parade is something the whole community gets involved in, but we know a lot of children take part and it’s important they can be seen clearly,’ said store director, Karl Knightley.
‘Hopefully the vests came in handy on the night, ensuring the youngsters were safe.’
