The hi-tech Specsavers Hearing Centre in Lanark teamed up with the Carluke and Lanark Gazette to offer its readers the chance to win a state-of-the-art pair of Phonak hearing aids.

First-class service

The lucky winner was Mary Dick who visited Specsavers in the town for a hearing assessment with one of the store’s dedicated hearing professionals.

Mary said: ‘The entire experience was wonderful, Specsavers provided me with a truly first-class service.

‘The hearing aids have made such a huge difference to my life. The improvement in my hearing is unbelievable – I no longer miss conversations or feel like I’m missing out.

‘The hearing aids themselves are very comfortable and so small no one knows I’m wearing them.’

Weekly hearing clinics

Rubena Kerr, store director at Specsavers in Lanark said: ‘Our hearing experts are on hand during the clinics to offer hearing advice and conduct free hearing examinations.

‘Weekly clinics are held, with appointments available on alternate Mondays and Tuesdays. Customers can book appointments online or by calling or visiting the store.’
