The Specsavers team at Kirkintilloch are investing a six figure sum to transform its store into a state-of-the-art optical facility. Specsavers at 32-34 Cowgate has begun a programme of improvements to revamp the store and further improve its customer service.
Capacity for an extra 100 eye tests
The facelift will include a new test room which will allow staff to carry out an additional 100 eye examinations each week. Changes to the layout of the store will also be made, improving the customer experience with a modern and fresh environment.
Neil Drain, director of Specsavers in Kirkintilloch, said: 'The refurbishment of the store has been a long time in the planning and we are thrilled that it’s now underway.
This investment represents our long term commitment to delivering great service to all our existing and new customers.’
Special launch day celebration
The store will be open throughout the refurbishment with the exception of Sunday 24 May and Sunday 31 May. The improvements are expected to be completed on Saturday 13 June and marked with a special launch day celebration.
