Kinghorn Bowling Club was bowled over by the support of a local opticians during its recent open pairs competition. Specsavers in Kirkcaldy sponsored the event, donating £250 to help promote the competition to bowling clubs around Fife. The store’s manager, Natalie attended on the day to present the trophy to the winners and prizes to the runners up.

Supporting local organisations
Ian Hamilton, president of Kinghorn Bowling Club said: ‘We would like to thank Specsavers for its sponsorship of our annual event. Local support is key to our success, so having Specsavers Kirkcaldy on board is great for the club and makes events like this possible.

This year we had a brilliant turnout for the tournament with a full entry of 24 pairs. We hope that this partnership can continue in future years.’
