Specsavers customers at the Kings Lynn Hardwick store in Sainsburys are always guaranteed a great service.
But now, they will have access to more information about their general eye health on the shop floor before they even see the optometrist.
New training for staff
That is thanks to some new training which has been developed by Specsavers and the Royal National Institute for Blind People (RNIB) which aims to give retail staff a greater understanding of a range of different eye conditions.
And Carrie Bartlett is the first trained RNIB Ambassador in store.
A word from the store director
Mark Willis, store director at both Specsavers stores in Kings Lynn, said: ‘We are committed to providing training and development for all our staff whatever their role so that they can give all our customers the best possible service.
‘So if you have any questions about your eye health, why not pop in and ask Carrie.’
