2016 Spectacle Wearer of the Year semi-finalist Elizabeth Ball is urging Kings Lynn specs wearers not to miss out on the chance to win this year’s grand prize of £10,000 cash and £1,000 of new specs.
Chosen from hundreds
Last August, Elizabeth Ball, aged 60 was chosen out of hundreds of entrants in the East of England’s 60+ age category. Elizabeth’s prize included a £150 designer eye wear voucher, champagne, a certificate and a photo shoot at her store in Kings Lynn.
Elizabeth entered the competition after a personal styling session at her local store in Norfolk Street where she was encouraged to try a bolder style. Just two months later she received the call to say she had been shortlisted.
Elizabeth adds: ‘I would urge everyone that wears specs to enter before Sunday 2 July, it’s quick and easy and you never know this year it might be you!’
What is SWOTY?

Social media fans also get the opportunity to vote for a Facebook favourite.
To enter Specsavers’ annual competition, simply wear your glasses with pride and share your best selfie via the Spectacle Wearer of the Year website and you could be mingling with celebrities at the star-studded awards evening in October.
