The team at Kenilworth Specsavers recently gave store visitors the chance to name a bear in a competition which raised more than £100 for Myton Hospices.
With plenty of great entries, the prize was ultimately clinched by Eva who is the proud new owner of the Myton bear which she named Sausage.
A word from the store director
‘We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who entered the competition and donated’, said Ambreena Bhatti, store director. ‘To continue their work, Myton Hospices need to raise £9.6 million in 2018 so we are really proud to have been able to contribute toward this.’
Myton Hospices are leaders in compassionate end of life care. Their work centres on patient well-being and improving patient involvement in decisions about their care. In 2017 the charity supported more than 1,400 people and their families across their three hospices in Coventry, Rugby and Warwick and in the community.
