Specsavers in Keighley has recently raised over £70 for charity Pancreatic Cancer UK.
The team at Specsavers in Keighley decorated their store in purple, the trademark colour of Pancreatic Cancer UK, to raise awareness and money for the charity.
As well as this, the team wore purple instead of their usual uniforms and placed fundraising buckets in store for customers to donate spare change.
Money raised by the store will go towards providing expert, personalised support and information, and funding innovative research to help find breakthroughs that will change how pancreatic cancer is understood, diagnosed and treated.
A word from the store director
Raj Gill, store director at Specsavers in Keighley, said: ‘Cancer is a disease that has affected everyone in one way or another, so raising money is the least we can do to help drive awareness.’
