Specsavers in Irvine welcomed two Scottish authors to mark its continued support of an Ayrshire book festival.
The opticians in the Rivergate Shopping Centre is this year’s main sponsor of the Tidelines Book Festival which takes place from 27 to 30 September.
On Saturday 8 September, children’s author Tony Bonning – who has penned books including Fox Tale Soup and Snog the Frog – read to youngsters in the Rivergate Shopping Centre foyer.
And on Friday 14 September, poet and novelist Michael Malone read a selection of his work in store.
