Big-hearted staff and customers at Specsavers in Irvine took time out to raise money for two charities.
The team at the store in the Rivergate Shopping Centre raised money for H4TH Help for the Homeless, a charity which provides daily meals to people living out on the streets of Glasgow, and ECHO, a charity which supports children and young people with heart conditions.
At a fundraising day last month, staff offered glasses adjustments and repairs in exchange for donations, and also competed in a bake off competition.
With help from generous customers, the event raised £150, which will be split between the two causes.
Together with local make-up artist Barbie Who?, the store has helped raised more than £1,000 for the charities to date.
Store director Gillian Syme said: ‘We’re so pleased with the amount raised and would like to say a big thank you to everyone who donated. It’s very much appreciated.’
