Staff at Specsavers in Inverness raised an impressive £350 during Red Nose Day fundraising.
Staff at the opticians asked customers to dig deep in support of Comic Relief during several fun days in store, including a face painting day for youngsters, a bake sale and a fancy dress day for staff.
In addition, brave optical assistant James Jack and optician Charlie Hall volunteered to have their legs waxed in support of the cause.
Went the extra mile
Andy Carr, store director of Specsavers in Inverness, said: 'We’re very proud of James and Charlie – they really went the extra mile to raise cash for a fantastic charity and I’m sure staff and customers alike had fun watching the leg wax!
We’d like to thank all our customers for their support and encouragement. Everyone is delighted that we were able to contribute a great amount to Specsavers’ total.’
