The Specsavers team in Hyde is all set and ready to host a packed family fun day on Saturday 16 July to mark the grand opening of the revamped store, an expansion representing a huge investment in local health care provision.

Specsavers in Hyde has been a part of the town centre for 23 years and the store team are excited to open the doors to their completely revamped store, now double the size and boasting even more top of the range facilities to accommodate its ever-growing customer base.

Store director Diane Wood says: ‘This expansion wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of our loyal customers over the last 23 years and we’re delighted to make this major investment in local health care.The revamp supports our growing business needs and means we can increases our hearcare service as well as expand our existing optical services. This all means we can provide an even better service to the people of Hyde.'
Fellow director Matthew Thornton adds: ‘We look forward to welcoming old and new customers into the refurbished store this weekend for the grand opening, and to share a celebratory slice of cake with us and toast to our long future in the town.'
‘We’ve got lots of great entertainment including stilt walkers and local singers coming to the launch party to help us celebrate this exciting new chapter for the store and we hope that customers old and new will share in our excitement.'
The new look store boasts six testing rooms, meaning greater appointment availability for customers. Furthermore, the store is expanding its hearcare offering to three days a week with three hearing clinics on offer.
To mark the grand opening, the store will be offering 25% off all glasses priced £69 or above from 14 July to 23 July.
On Wednesday 13 there will be a soft opening, with business as usual from Thursday 14 before the grand opening on Saturday 16.
