Specsavers in Hyde has appointed a new optometrist director, bringing a wealth of experience to the team.
Nina La Rosa joins the team with 13 years of industry experience, taking over the role of Matthew Thornton, the store’s previous director.
From Saturday shop assistant to director
Newly appointed director, Nina, started her career with Specsavers as a Saturday shop assistant at the Uttoxeter store, and brings a vast amount of knowledge in the field of optometry. In her last role she worked as a Pre-Registration Supervisor at the Newcastle Specsavers store, where she also started working on the Professional Development Team in 2012.
With her extensive experience, she has acquired an impressive range of skills in optometry and healthcare, making her well equipped for the role. Nina will work alongside Diane Wood, retail director of the store. There has also been a period of growth in the store as four other new starters join the team.
Nina La Rosa, optometrist director of Hyde Specsavers, said: ‘As the store’s new optometrist director, I strongly believe in the importance of promoting good eye health to the local community. I therefore endeavour to be that approachable face who is always happy to answer any questions you may have about your eyes.
