Customers at Specsavers in Hove have donated a brilliant £477 to Guide Dogs.

The store, in George Street, has a collection box for the charity and has also been selling pin badges over the past few months.

Store manager Adam Fuller and some of his team met with Graham Oulton, a local representative of the charity, and guide dog Bassey at the store to hand over the cheque in person.

A word from the store director

Charles Forshaw, store director in Hove, said: ‘We would like to thank our customers for their ongoing generosity. Thanks to them, and the hard work that the charity does all year round, more people will be able to benefit from the support and independence that a guide dog brings.’
