Specsavers Hove have done their bit for road safety this winter.

The store, in George Street, has donated 70 high-vis vests to Coombe Road Primary School in Brighton.

Be safe and seen

Store manager Adam Fuller and dispensing manager Sarah Edwards delivered the vests to the school in person.

The vests are designed to help local children be safe and seen on dark evenings.

Delighted to donate

Charles Forshaw, store director in Hove, said: ‘We were delighted to be able to donate the high viz vests to Coombe Road Primary School. We hope they will find them really useful this winter.

‘Being seen on these long dark evenings really matters, but making sure you can see others clearly is important too. So if you have not had an eye test in a while, it could be time to get one.’
