Specsavers staff in Hove hosted a designated fundraising day for Guide Dogs on Thursday 8 October and raised £150. Store staff dressed up in bright clothes and took part in an array of charity challenges.
The store also received a special visit from a guide dog and hosted a bake sale to drive donations.
Charles Forshaw, store director of Specsavers in Hove says: ‘Specsavers has been a proud supporter of Guide Dogs for more than 10 years. I would like to thank our loyaly customers for making this latest fundraiser such a success.’
Guide Dogs provides help to thousands of blind and partially sighted people across the UK through the provision of guide dogs, mobility and other rehabilitation services. They also campaign for the rights of those with visual impairments and invest in eye disease research.
