Specsavers in Hounslow helped put a smile on its customers’ faces – quite literally – with an event celebrating the launch of its new Emoji glasses.
The team held a dress down day to help promote the range and also gave customers stickers, balloons and face masks all featuring emojis, which translates from Japanese as ‘picture character’.
The Emoji range is targeted at young specs wearers aged four to 10, with children able to choose from a selection of four acetate frames each featuring their own emoji characters.
Simon Pinnington, store director at Specsavers Hounslow, said: ‘The team had a lot of fun promoting the new Emoji range to customers. We’re certain the new frames will prove to be a big hit with our younger glasses wearers.’
