Specsavers in Hounslow has played its part in helping the brand raise £13m in a year for the charity, RNIB.
Putting eye health on the nation's radar
Did you know that there are over two million people in the UK living with sight loss? RNIB and Specsavers have formed a partnership to help create a greater awareness of eye health across the country. One easy way to reduce the cases of sight loss is prevention with twice-yearly check ups and that is why Specsavers is announcing the large financial pledge ahead of National Eye Health Week.
Supporting a great cause here in Hounslow
Collectively, every Specsavers store can do their bit to help raise valuable funds for RNIB. Hounslow was one of the first stores to get things going with a mufti day for the staff and customer activities that included stick-on tattoos, face painting and windmill making. Customers who popped in for frame adjustments kindly donated some money into the RNIB collection tins too.
Together, £160 was raised in the one day and we would like to thank everyone for taking part.
