Over the bank holiday weekend, store staff raised funds for the cause alongside the local netball tournament, which was also supporting Hospiscare. Store staff decorated the store with balloons, sold badges and took donations for the cause. The store also offered customers five-pound sight tests over the weekend.
Jonathan Baumber, store director at Specsavers Honiton, said: ‘We are very pleased to have supported the local charity, and we are happy with the £60 we can contribute to such a great cause.’
Specsavers Honiton is equipped with the latest ophthalmic technology including a state-of-the-art digital retinal camera.
