Raj Kukadia, dispensing director at Holborn, believes his store is a good predictor of national trends given his style conscious London customers.
Here, he shares some insights into the popular ranges loved by Holborn customers.
Mad for Balmain
Parisian designer, Balmain, launched its range at the end of 2017.
Raj says: 'This is a very fashion-forward label and our collection gives customers a touch of designer chic at affordable prices via their eyewear. The shapes stand out from other more traditional lines and suit a customer after a bold statement look. Since launch, they have proved to be extremely popular and the enthusiasm for the collection shows no signs of tailing off.'
Spinning around for Kylie
Kylie's range dropped with aplomb last spring and customers are still very excited about the collection.
Raj adds: 'Kylie designed this range exclusively for Specsavers. Like her, the frame choice is fashionable, ageless and fun. Plus Kylie also designed frames to suit petite faces like hers, and this has proved a very popular feature.'
Supermodel style inspired by Twiggy
Another celebrity name attached to a range at Specsavers is Twiggy. The Twiggy for Aurora range has long been a strong seller and Raj explains why: 'Our more mature customer loves this range. The frames are light and comfortable but there isn't a compromise on style.
' Just like Twiggy, they ooze style and timeless glamour. We have recently welcomed some new frames for 2018 in this collection and already, demand is high.'
Specsavers in Holborn stocks an array of frames to suit all fashion requirements, all lifestyles and all budgets. For children to grandparents, young male professionals to working mums - there is a frame choice here to suit you.
