Last Friday, the team at Specsavers Hereford dusted off their dancing shoes to join forces with one of the UK’s leading contemporary dance companies and host a ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ inspired charity event. The glittering evening was planned to help raise funds for Headway, a British charity dedicated to helping improve the lives of those who have suffered with a brain injury.
The night consisted of performances from 2Faced Dance Company’s youth group, as well as Specsavers staff. All performers also took part in a jam session, where the staff improvised using what they had learnt during their training.
Lucky raffle winners bagged some great prizes from Miller and Carter, Frankie and Benny’s, Nandos, The Hibiscus Rooms and Phillps and Preece Butchers among others. A total of £386 was raised on the night through donations.
