Staff at Specsavers  Hereford hosted a Cupcake Day raising more than £80 for the Alzheimer’s Society.

The team offered beautiful cupcakes in return for charitable donations, as part of the Alzheimer’s Society’s national Cupcake Day campaign, which has raised over £1.4 million since 2016.

Store director, Nialle Smith, commented: ‘We’d like to say a big thank you to everyone who got involved and to our loyal members of the community who came down and showed their support by making a donation.’

The Alzheimer’s Society aims to transform the landscape of dementia. Until they find a cure, the charity strives to create a society where those affected by dementia are supported, accepted and able to live in their community without fear or prejudice.
