Helston Specsavers is the latest store in the UK to be recognised for outstanding people management standards, after receiving their Platinum Employer Awards.
Platinum employee experience
The aim of Platinum Employer status is to recognise businesses for providing a great overall employee experience. The scheme focuses on five key areas - talent management, recruitment and induction, performance management and reward, learning and development and lastly employee communications and engagement.
Great team work
Helston store director, Gillian Sanguinette, said: ‘Well done to both of the teams in Falmouth and Helston. There was a rigorous assessment involved in achieving this award including staff interviews, reviewing all of our processes and appraisal system.’
Joint store director, Paul McGrane, said: ‘The Helston store has done particularly well given it opened less than two years ago. A great example of team work and team success.’
