Two of the team at Specsavers Haywards Heath in South Road recently took part in a daring charity challenge.

Optical assistant Lorraine and store supervisor Matt decided to Brave the Shave to raise much-needed funds for Macmillan Cancer Support and St Joseph’s Hospice – and to raise awareness of the important work done by both charities. And they were delighted to raise a grand total of £1,406.69.

A word from the store manager

Emma, store manager in Haywards Heath, said: ‘Unfortunately, cancer is a subject that has touched many of my staff in some way – so we wanted to raise as much money as we could to help these brilliant charities do all that they can for the people that need their help.

‘We are really proud of Lorraine and Matt for taking on this challenge.’
