This Red Nose Day (Friday 24 March) the Hayes store ‘Gave Us a Wave’ with a ‘Super Saturday Bonanza’ fundraising day.

Raising a magnificent £121.07, the whole team joined forces to offer local customers mouth-watering homemade cakes while being serenade by a local singer.
Prior to Saturday’s admirable fundraising efforts, the Comic Relief ‘give us a wave’ glasses were on sale in the lead up to the event to help boost the charitable donation.
Irinder Singh Khakha, Ophthalmic Director said: ‘Specsavers Comic Relief activity gave the residents of Hayes a really easy way to make a big difference with this amazing cause.
'The communities fundraising efforts prove that everyone’s donations really do add up to astonishing amounts, and we are so grateful to the community to be able to help vulnerable people living tough lives both here in the UK and across Africa.’
The stores gallant effort helped to contribute to Specsavers overall total of £ 475,000 (and still counting) – bursting their £250,000 target!
